The Hall of Honor is the brain child of many different influential people in the hobby industry. Each year the committee puts many hours of effort into creating a public ballot of nominees worthy of the hand cut custom ring produced by Jostens and the coinciding dinner and awards ceremony which takes place in Las Vegas Nevada, hosted by Mad Mike from MTV’s Pimp My Ride!
The Hall of Honor started over 15 years ago with a recognition mindset of those who deserved it in the hobby space. The committee each year formalizes a public ballot which is pushed out and allows the public to decide who deserves the recognition for that years class. Typically over 150,000 people are involved in the voting process each year. The Hall of Honor Committee then certifies the votes at the conclusion of the voting window and notifies the inductees who received 80% or more of the votes for induction.
